Benny Gold gives us a first look at the Doughboy fitted cap produced by New Era. Inspired by the cap Ice Cube wore in Boyz N The Hood, these caps feature a Benny Old English B based on Detroit’s D. Using NE’s 59Fifty model, these caps are made with wool fabric & feature BG’s famous paper plane argyle as an undervisor print. Both caps are part of Gold’s upcoming Fall/Winter 08 release, are lined with satin & feature side-embroidered paper plane icon. Official is coming through Wednesday, Sept. 3rd with their highly anticipated cap collection dubbed “The Purps Pack“. This package offers their Neu Camp 5-Panel adjustable & fitted cap in limited production which is fully equipped with all styling & details. First up is the 5-panel model made in powder blue, rip-stop nylon fabric printed with Official’s own Houndstooth Disruptive Pattern in purple & grey. The final piece in the collection is their standard Fitted cap model made in premium grey denim. The front features raised embroidered ‘Official’ script wordmark, top contrast stitch, & laser-cut Official POP woven label. These hot styles will be available through their site & worldwide dealers starting next week.

Business as usual at Cap City with a new wave of color custom New Era caps released today. First up is an orange & black pack, which includes a Philly exclusive with The Broad Street Bullies fitted & Hardwood Classics San Francisco Warriors New Era hat. The second pack is hook up’s to Olympic 6 Jordan’s with the Toronto Bluejays & Pittsburgh Pirates New Era hats. For all you AirMax heads, the third pack has your grey & neon green covered with NHL Anaheim Ducks & Carolina Hurricanes New Era hats. Finishing off the release is minor league return of the Clearwater Treshers hat plus a suede addition of the Cleveland Indians fitted. Check the shop or order online.

Below is a new headwear collection from Adidas NBA Series dubbed “Comic Book Illustrations”. The collection consists of fitted caps, which draw cues from comic book graphics like word balloons, pows, & other stylist elements meshed with NBA team logos. With only a hand full of teams offered, these caps are maxed out with applications. Such as halftone prints on canvas, super raised embroidery, foil, & high-density prints. Each cap is color coordinated to hook back to the bigger collection that includes tees, fleece hoodies, plus ZX & Superstar sneaker models.
