Benny Gold gives us a first look at the Doughboy fitted cap produced by New Era. Inspired by the cap Ice Cube wore in Boyz N The Hood, these caps feature a Benny Old English B based on Detroit’s D. Using NE’s 59Fifty model, these caps are made with wool fabric & feature BG’s famous paper plane argyle as an undervisor print. Both caps are part of Gold’s upcoming Fall/Winter 08 release, are lined with satin & feature side-embroidered paper plane icon. Business as usual at Cap City with a new wave of color custom New Era caps released today. First up is an orange & black pack, which includes a Philly exclusive with The Broad Street Bullies fitted & Hardwood Classics San Francisco Warriors New Era hat. The second pack is hook up’s to Olympic 6 Jordan’s with the Toronto Bluejays & Pittsburgh Pirates New Era hats. For all you AirMax heads, the third pack has your grey & neon green covered with NHL Anaheim Ducks & Carolina Hurricanes New Era hats. Finishing off the release is minor league return of the Clearwater Treshers hat plus a suede addition of the Cleveland Indians fitted. Check the shop or order online.

Reppin’ since the early 90’s, X-Large has been a staple in the street wear game holding down spots in NY, LA, Taiwan, & Tokyo. Onspotz.com just dropped these new XL, 59Fifty’s on their site. These fresh new styles feature an updated iteration of a roaring ape face. Using New Era’s 59Fifty fitted model, the cap also features a fully embroidered “Los Angeles” wordmark on the undervisor & inside satin lining with repeating pattern. The now infamous Pigeon fitted caps from Staple Design are now in stock at Brooklyn’s own Wealthy Hostage. This classic cap features complete embroidered NY grey pigeon on the front, Staple logo & bird drop on the back. WH now has them in restock colors: black/grey, green, & white. Major DC will be releasing this New Era 59Fifty fitted cap dubbed “The Checkered Flag” today at their shop. This cap uses New Era’s performance wool for the top crown & cotton black / white gingham for the visor. The front features the Major logo with checkered pattern in puff embroidery & side NE logo. This cap is part of a bigger Nike Co-Lab Series collection that includes 3 separate Air Max 90’s, one which is designed by Ben Drury, inspired by BMX & racing themes called the “Oh 8″. This fitted will be available exclusively today with any remaining stock going up on the Major site tonight.
