Business as usual at Cap City with a new wave of color custom New Era caps released today. First up is an orange & black pack, which includes a Philly exclusive with The Broad Street Bullies fitted & Hardwood Classics San Francisco Warriors New Era hat. The second pack is hook up’s to Olympic 6 Jordan’s with the Toronto Bluejays & Pittsburgh Pirates New Era hats. For all you AirMax heads, the third pack has your grey & neon green covered with NHL Anaheim Ducks & Carolina Hurricanes New Era hats. Finishing off the release is minor league return of the Clearwater Treshers hat plus a suede addition of the Cleveland Indians fitted. Check the shop or order online.

Adidas has released the official 2008; Boston Celtics “Champion Banner” fitted caps. The first run of this style was released holiday 07 (see here) as part of their NBA Hardwood Classic collection. KG was rocking this fitted (see here) during the Celtics champion parade this past June. Below is the new stock of wool caps which includes the 2008 World Champion Banner to seal the deal. The front features Celtics main logo against a cut & sew panel with embroidered 3 stripes. The back is the official jump off with all 17 banners as woven labels individually applied. This cap will definitely fly off shelves when it drops early September. Look for this release at the Celtics proshop in Boston, NBA online, & Adidas Originals stores.

Last call on Mitchell & Ness NBA Hardwood Classic “Strongside” fitted caps. With crisp fall 08 product starting to stock up shelves this style makes its final run at M&N. The “Strongside” fitted cap is made of 100% wool & front printed pattern. All caps feature front team wordmarks, right side logos, & NBA logo on the backs. Mitchell & Ness introduces it’s low-profile fitted & stretch caps for fall 08. M&N will release the fitted version first in the brand label & the stretch model in NFL, NBA, & NHL teams. All caps are made with high quality, melton wool fabric & sport the “vintage” inspired green undervisors. The front panels to all caps feature die-cut felt fabric with top heavy embroidery. The brand label fitted caps come in various base colors with the licensed stretch caps in select team colors & brass eyelets. Adi is set to drop a wave of caps heavily influenced by licensed caps of the late 80’s & early 90’s. The caps are fully built using the classic arch format & some 2 tone visors.
