ECAPCITY 59Fifty Update

Heading into February, here's a round-up of the latest ECAPCITY releases to have dropped within the past few weeks.

First up, a couple of nice two-tone colorways to have dropped recently, one a Toronto Blue Jays 59Fifty in olive green with a gray melton wool visor, and custom colored logo to match in red, white, shades of gray, and olive thread. The other, a Chicago White Sox wool two-tone in camel tan on black with raised embroidery.

Similarly, a Kansas City Royals two-tone with white embroidery on a red and white pinstripe crown and yellow visor, as well as an Arizona Diamondbacks fitted hook to the Nike VOLT GRIFFEYs in black, blue, and neon yellow.

Another iteration of the New Jersey Devils team color 59Fifty in solid red, alongside a
Phoenix Coyotes two-tone sneaker hook in gray, black, and orange for the Nike Air Max 95 Safety Oranges.

Two Minor League baseball offerings in the form of the Western Tennessee Diamond Jaxx, in  light gray and black, and the Bowie Baysox in a green on purple and gray color scheme.

An NBA Hardwood Classics fitted featuring the LA Clipp's previous incarnation, the San Diego Clippers, in blue pinstripe on white, with orange visor and matching embroidery was also released, as was this Columbus Blue Jackets NHL custom in teal on black, with red, green, yellow and metallic silver embroidery.

The always popular Tampa Bay Devil Rays in solid black featuring the multi-color devil ray logo. As well as Minor League baseball's Salem Keizer with a two-tone sneaker hook to the black, graphite, and red versions of the Nike Shadow Volcanoes.

Another hot vintage logo featuring the Philadelphia Flyers retro identity, the Broad Street Bullies in team  color orange and black, as well as a brightly colored Milwaukee Brewers two-tone in brown on yellow with orange, yellow, and white embroidery on front.

Another hot item was a Denver Nuggets re-release in solid light gray with a yellow undervisor and featuring the team's retro multi-color logo. A Hardwood Classics logo San Francisco Warriors 59Fifty also dropped in navy with white, navy, and gray embroidery.

Two more sneaker-fitted hooks, this time for Jersey State heads. The first, a New Jersey Devils colorway to match the Nike SB Dunk High Boba Fetts in black on red, with yellow, red, and olive green embroidery. The second, a New Jersey Nets black and purple two-tone that hooks to the Nike Eggplant Foamposites.

The last sneaker hook in this update is a Chicago Blackhawks, white front panel two-tone colorway to match the Nike Air Force One Mowabb in orange, blue, and deep red. And seldom seen via ECAPCITY, but always appreciated, a crisp New York Yankees custom fitted in midnight navy with orange embroidery.

Rock-N-Jocks Late January 59Fifty Update

We've rounded up the latest Rock-N-Jocks custom colorways for the latter half of january.

Rock-N-Jocks most recent drop is an Atlanta Braves custom 59Fifty in purple and lime green with an orange undervisor. The Braves ligature logo is embroidered in lime green with an orange outline with similar embroidery in the back as well.

The next release featured is a Tampa Bay Devil Rays custom color two-tone, in black on varsity purple with a full color vintage team wordmark on front. Black and varsity purple embroidery with white accents adorn the back.

Another release which dropped earlier this month is a royal blue on black Chicago Blackhawks custom color 59Fifty. A full color Blackhawks logo is embroidered on front, while the back features the NHL shield embroidered in matching royal blue and black thread.

New Mighty Healthy Fitted & Snapback Caps

Mighty Healthy recently updated their online store with new fitted and snapback caps.  This new selection begins with their core MH Varsity II fitteds.  The MH Varsity II are made with wool crowns and corduroy visors. Next is the Marquee MH caps done up in melton wool and combined with khaki corduroy visors.  A personal favorite, these caps feature an embossed leather patch.  Finishing off, Mighty Healthy brings out the snapback caps.  The MH shield caps are made in cotton with green under visors.  All caps are now available through the Mighty Healthy online store and official dealers.

Rebel8 'Spiked Bat Logo' New Era Fitted Cap

Rebel8 is now stocking the Spiked Bat fitted cap produced with New Era on their webstore. Rebel8 starts things off by grounding the cap in timeless black and white.  The front features the custom double R8 ligature and back panels laced with REBEL EIGHT wordmark; both inspired by the San Francisco Giants letter system. Upper Playground January Fitted Cap Releases by Herbert Baglione & Chuey

Upper Playground starts off the year with a pair of new fitted caps designed by Herbet Baglione and Chuey.  Herbet Baglione takes the clean approach with a solid black wool cap and embroidered rendition of a bird.  The fine design is executed in raised embroidery with metallic silver thread.  Next up, is Chuey's Angry Cans fitted cap.  This style features Chuey signature characters fully embroidered on one side of the crown. Both caps are now available at all Upper Playground retail stores and Upper Playground's web store.

ECAPCITY Custom Color 59Fifty January 2010 Update

Our first major ECAPCITY update this month brings in the year will a nice selection of custom color New Era 59Fiftys in various leagues and colorways.

First on the plate is a San Diego Padres two-tone adorned with the team wordmark in their throwback colors of brown on orange, with white accents. Knowledgeable MLB fans can also find a Milwaukee Brewers fitted featuring the team's previous incarnation, the Seattle Pilots, in royal blue and yellow.

Bay Area fans can look for a San Jose Sharks NHL custom done up in black and purple with orange accents. Similarly, the San Francisco Giants get a twist on their team color two-tone, this time with an orange crown and black visor, with the team's ligature in white on black.

Two Chicago White Sox offerings were released, the first a white on hunter green two-tone fitted with red on hunter green embroidery. The second, a kelly green on royal blue number, featuring the Sox' vintage logo embroidered to match.

ECAPCITY continues to capitalize on sneaker hooks this month, up first is a Toronto Blue Jays hook to the Air Jordan Aqua VIII's that was re-released, having sold out within the first two days of dropping. Featuring the Jay's maple leaf logo, the cap is black on aqua, with black, white, teal, and purple embroidery on the front. Keeping the canadian theme going, fitted enthusiasts will also find a Montreal Expos custom colorway in gray on black, with the team's famous 'M' logo in black, white, and red.

NHL fitted fans will find a Detroit Red Wings team color 59Fifty in solid red available this month, while the sneaker heads looking for a fitted to match the DJ Clark Kent Pack Nike Air Max 1's can now rejoice with an NBA Phoenix Suns two-tone in black, gray, and neon yellow colored to match the collection, which consists of the Air Max 1, Air Force 1, and the Air Trainer 1.

Two more sneaker hooks with black crowns, one, a Cleveland Indians fitted in black, gray, and red matching the Air Jordan Retro IV's. The other, a Quad City River Bandits minor league baseball fitted made for the Air Jordan Retro Space Jam's in black and bright blue.

Bright colored offerings continue to enjoy popularity with the Boston Celtics in black on hot pink with neon aqua embroidery, as well as a Seattle Mariners custom colorway in orange on teal.

Two more NHL custom colorways, one is a Dallas Stars two-tone in gray and orange, with white, orange, and black embroidery, the other a Winnipeg Jets 59Fifty in navy on red.

Another sneaker hook, this time a Cleveland Cavaliers Hardwood Classics logo two-tone, in black, process blue, and red colored to match the Angel and Demon NIKE Dunk SB's. The Atlanta Hawks also get a vintage logo fitted in white on gray with matching embroidery.

And lastly, two more minor league offerings featuring California's Fresno Grizzlies and Modesto A's. The Fresno Grizzlies two-tone fitted is burgundy and graphite gray, while the Modesto A's get a 59Fifty in the Oakland A's colors of kelly green on yellow.
