Fresh Fridays Lids & New Era

This 5950 was released around May from select Lids stores through their "Fresh Fridays" program. The Fresh Friday program is basically a fitted by New Era or any other company customized exclusively for Lids & released the first Friday of the month. This cap was released in limited quantities for the month of May. This 5950 sports a nice woven color cotton fabric with piping to match the front team logo.

RBK / NFL Spiral Fitteds

RBK has just released these black & white combos followed by the black with team color this August. The fitteds sport a tight embroidred spiral design & inside lining. Available through Footlocker doors nationwide.

Supreme!

The following is some of my favorite Supreme caps for 2006. The 5950 "Fight The Power" fitted is just a must. Then we have the collabo with artist Rammelzee on a basic cotton cap that is straight true school. Supreme has always put out tight headwear pieces since their early 90 roots. Cop these at their downtown shop or other independent spots.

Reebok NFL Script Fitteds

After being offered in limited quantities through Total Sports (Philly & Atl) & other small shops, Reebok & Lids will finally release these in a major way this coming August. This classic design is among a few that defines the athletic team headwear business. Formally known as the SPL or just "the script" this cap was put out by Sport Speciality, Starter at one time & now Reebok. I feel this cap among others is responsible for blasting athletic team caps into Hip-Hop fashion back in the mid/ late 80's. Now in 2006 this cap comes full circle to a new wool fitted. All NFL teams will be offered & available at Lids.
