Feb'09 Custom Color 59Fifty Releases @ ECAPCITY
ECAPCITY kicked off the month of February with some more custom color 59Fifty releases in NHL NBA and MLB flavors. Following up on the purple Foamposite One sneaker hook featured last month, The Orlando Magic return in a red and black version of the popular pinstripe fabric two-tone colorway, hooking to the recently released Penny 2's. On the team color tip, the Atlanta Thrashers get a solid teal NHL 59Fifty with full color team logo and matching embroidery.

The MLB is up next in the two tone category, as the Pittsburgh Pirates go in with a red, black, and yellow colorway featuring their alternate logo, while the Minnesota Twins get a varsity purple and black custom colorway and matching embroidery.

Showing love to the west coast, The San Francisco Warriors get a Hardwood Classic custom colorway in orange and black with a Warriors patch on the side panel, while the Los Angeles Dodgers get a team color 59Fifty in Dodgers blue and white. Both feature kelly green undervisors.

Repping Chicago, the Blackhawks get a sneaker hook in red, blue, and lime matching the previously released Transformer Air Trainers, while their alternate logo version gets a process blue and black colorway, with black, white, yellow, and carmine red accents.

The last of the bunch finds the Texas Rangers in graphite and red, and the ever popular San Jose Sharks in black and teal.

FAT Sport : Spring / Summer 2009 "PATCAP" Cap
FAT SPORT is a brand new causal / sports brand coming from Japan. Representing casual daily wear, FAT Sport blends simply aesthetics and vivid colors with a creative twist. Mitchell & Ness, NBA 75 & 95 All-Star Game Fitted Caps, Pt:2
Phoenix Arizona will host the 58th NBA All-Star Game for the third time next Sunday. For this special event, Mitchell & Ness releases two separate sets of fitted and snapback caps focused around the 1975 and 1995 games. First up is the West and East wordmarks from the 1975 game jersey in full raised embroidery. The right side features a dazzle application with top embroidery that is taken right from the uniform shorts. Next up is the 1995 All-Star Game fitteds with the iconic cactus theme that dominated the event during 95. The front is heavy with a sun / cactus graphic in thick embroidery plus additional embroidered stars around the crown. The left side features the NBA logo and back Mitchell & Ness script. The final touch can be found on the inside headband, which comes printed with arena name and game’s final score. Stay posted for the third half of M&N NBA All-Star Game caps.

Upper Playground February New Era 59Fifty Fitted Caps
February New Era 59Fifty releases are here and Upper Playground has two new designs, Sword and Dear Deer. The Sword design is by none other than Usugrow, who is based in Japan and known for his black and white illustrations. The hat features felt appliqué and embroidery on the front and back of the cap. The Dear Deer design features the art of Michael Sieben, a former exhibiting artist at FIFTY24SF Gallery, and features a broken-down yet surprisingly proud deer. The hat is made of cotton duck cloth and features front and side embroidery. Both hats are available at Upper Playground stores and on the Upper Playground Web Store.
