New 5950 Fitted Customs @ Cap City

UA is pleased to feature Cap City officially for the first time. Located in New Jersey, CC is known for custom colorways of almost every fitted stocked. Here are pics of New Era 5950 fitteds that just dropped. First up is the Philippines flag fitted which features their golden sun rays & stars plus a second colorway in green / red. Rounding off the release is minor league baseball, logo love with the Trenton Thunder & NJ Cardinals. All caps are available through their site or store located in West New York, NJ.

New Stussy x Futura 2000 New Era Fitteds

The Destiny Collection is a collaboration between Stussy x Futura which includes tees, jackets, & now fitted caps. Here is a preview of the first 2 caps on New Era's 5950 model for spring 2008. The Jungle Camo & Night Camo fitteds feature unique patterns printed all over with front raised embroidery. The caps are available now through Haven with a wider release next month.

Evil Monito x Kangol Fedora @ FITTED

Check this exclusive 2/15 (Friday) release of limited Evil Monito x Kangol fedora hat at FITTED. This fedora is made with waterproof, crushable felt & features a traditional center dent, bound ribbon edging, & loop bow band. The inside is lined with sublimated images of Mr. Rickey Kim's family & comes packaged in a nice black felt box. Extremely limited at the shop, call to inquire about phone orders or check EM.

Brixton Spring 08 Style Guide, Pt:1

Brixton Ltd. gives us a look at their unique Spring 08 collection. Starting things off is the Leland relaxed fitted cap. Made with fine melton wool, these caps sport a short round visor & soft buckram for the front two panels. The Leland comes with standard Brixton pin & is available in woven pinstripe on cream & a navy/ red combo. Look for these through the Brixton site & other fine boutiques that carry headwear.

Tokyo 08 / Part 3 : ONSPOTZ

One of the best shops in the Shibuya district is Onspotz, which is fully loaded with official fitted caps. The selection ranges from authentic MLB teams, independent brands, & Onspotz custom. The grid walls are covered from top to bottom with mostly black-based fitteds & color pop embroidery. NY fitteds dominate the majority of space with core teams such as LA, Philly, Boston, Chi-town, & ATL stocked in various colors. Definitely check for them in Shibuya, their new Harajuku base, or their site for the largest offering.

Tokyo 08 / Part 2 : Cap Collector ONE

Part of my journey in Tokyo was the opportunity to visit the one & only Cap Collector One. Cap Collector ONE is a premier spot in Tokyo & a great online spot for your entire fitted cap fix. Located in the Harajuku district with a second spot in Ueno, CC One is craved out similar to fitted spots out in NYC (125th, Jamaica Ave.) but a bit more polished. As you can see from the pics below Cap Collector is nothing short of NY fitteds. The NY Yankees caps command about 50% of the wall real estate & the rest is made of other teams plus a whole window wall dedicate to independent brands such as The Hundreds, HUF, Upper Playground, & customs. Having showcased a handful of their products here on UA it was great to finally hit them up for a visit & some fitteds! Cap Collector is located on Meiji St, one block up from the Harajuku train station.
