Flight Club NY/LA x Mitchell & Ness Fitted Caps

Flight Club has recently drop another round of fitted caps in connection with Mitchell & Ness.  Colors are out in full force with a tonal series for NY and two-tone for LA.  Each cap is made with wool and features super raised embroidery plus green under visors.  For NY you have green, red, purple, black, and navy tonals.  LA gets two-tone combos of Angels gray/red, Clippers red/royal, off white/royal, Lakers gold/purple, and a Cali Flag version in off white/red with brown bar and red star. All caps are now available in-store or through Flight Club NY or LA.com

ECAPCITY July Sneaker Hooks & Custom Color 59Fiftys: Part Two

Part two of our ECAPCITY July update features another round of custom color 59Fiftys which hit their shelves today.

World Baseball Classic fitteds are picking up steam in various colorways as these 59Fifty customs illustrate below, with team Korea's ligature logo embroidered in white across royal blue, red, and black versions. The state of New Jersey gets some love with a new custom color fitted featuring the state and capital in white and gray embroidery on a solid red fitted, with the moniker 'Garden State' embroidered on back.

The Colorado Rockies get a black on deep purple two tone 59Fifty featuring their Cooperstown logo. The Minnesota Timberwolves follow suit with a navy crown, blue visor colorway featuring their Hardwood Classics logo in matching red, white, blue, and silver embroidery.

Two more custom two tones of the MLB variety for summer, featuring the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros. The Braves get black, silver, and metallic gold embroidery on white and black. The Astros go hard with red and black embroidery on a process blue crown and black visor.

The San Jose Sharks and New York Rangers get custom NHL two tones in metallic silver on black and hunter green and beige, respectively.

Last in this sampling of customs feature MLB Cooperstown logo sneaker hooks in the form of the Boston Braves and Baltimore Orioles. Boston gets a graphite gray, black and teal sneaker hook to the Nike Air Max 95 Freshwaters. The Orioles get a light gray, orange and black colorway for Nike Air Max 95 Safety Oranges.

Yellow visor color combinations continue to be popular, as can be seen on this Detroit Red Wings 5950 in blue and yellow to match the Jordan Laney V's or Jordan Do the Right Thing Spizikes. The NBA's Seattle Supersonics can also be found in red on yellow with white on yellow embroidery.

Legacy x Estate LA x Pato Banton 'Gwarn' Fitted Cap

Become Fitted is releasing a special Legacy x Estate LA Gwarn fitted cap to coincide with Pato Banton's in-store appearance tomorrow at Legacy in Hermosa Beach, CA. This special cap is very limited with only 25 pieces being produced. The Gwarn fitted is based off one of Pato's famous cuts under the same name, which is Jamaican slang for Go On! This is an all wool cap with full raised embroidery for the front and the Legacy logo on the back. Additional features are the palm tree side hit, Estate under visor E, and three color inside taping. If you are in town make your way to Legacy for a chill time and plenty of Red Bull cocktails.

Neon Genesis Evangelion Custom Color 59Fiftys @ ONSPOTZ Japan

ONSPOTZ Japan now has seven exclusive custom color New Era 59Fiftys based on the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime franchise to coincide with the release of the second in the latest series of animated movies overseas. Each fitted is inspired by themes and elements from the series, including direct hooks to the EVA type mecha central to the story.

The first offering features the eyes and body color of the popular EVA-01 model in raised embroidery with a sublimated print undervisor. The next two fitteds pay homage to NGE's female characters, one with Rei Ayaname's image sublimated on the undervisor of a black 5950, '00' embroidered on front and the franchise logo across the back, and another fitted with NERV logo in black embroidery on a red crown, reminiscent of Asuka Langley's signature colors.
If Japanese calligraphy is your thing, the next two 59Fiftys feature that in tonal black embroidery and references to episodes and motifs from the original series. The first references the pivotal episode After Running Away with the title embroidered in kanji on front, and the next fitted features a print of Japan against a starscape with black embroidery.
The orange and black tiger stripe colorway is actually a hook to the infamous AT field used by the EVA mecha in the franchise and features an embroidered spear across the front and side panels.
The last customized fitted features a full color, all over sublimated print of a scene from the anime with lead character Shinji Ikari looking out over a hazy New Tokyo City and 'Evangelion 1.0' embroidered across the back.
