Duck Down Records x New Era Custom 59Fiftys

Legendary Hip Hop recording label Duck Down Records recently collaborated with New Era to produce a set of custom 59Fiftys representing nothing but the best of Bucktown, USA.

The first fitted cap carries the namesake of emcee and original black moon member, Buckshot Shorty, and features a raised embroidered script on a Dodgers blue 59Fifty.

The last two 59Fiftys lay it down for the Boot Camp Clik's one and only Sean Price. For those in the know ( ie. NYC heads, circa early ninties), the the white on white fitted pays homage to Sean P's DECEP roots, with tonal white embroidery and the P in the wordmark in Decepticon purple. These caps are fire.

Quintin Co. 'Primary Pack' Fall 2009 Preview

Quintin Co. has recently released a preview of their upcoming Fall 09 collection of 5-Panel Fitted caps. Quintin establishes a core foundation of color tonals that starts off with red, blue, yellow, and green.  Each cap is made with cotton and features tonal embroidery plus details such as under visors, and eyelets.  Quintin has also updated their home page, which offers extra previews of Fall 09 heaters dropping real soon.  Stay posted!

Upper Playground September 59Fifty Fitted Caps by Herbert Baglione and Jeremy Fish

Upper Playground is releasing two New Era caps designed by artists Herbert Baglione and Jeremy Fish. Baglione’s art has gained him respect and recognition from his native Brazil to the U.S. and abroad. He is known for his strong minimalist and simplistic approach to painting. Jeremy Fish’s artwork can be found throughout his own line, superFishal, through the multiple books he has been featured in, and in the various collaborations he has done with corporations like Nike and Adidas.
Cat Moonlight, the design by Baglione, gives us a wistful look at a full moon from a black cat’s perspective. Fish’s Bunny Skull design creates a clever wall paper-type pattern covering the entire fitted with bunny skulls. The new 59FIFTY caps are available at all Upper Playground retail stores and the Upper Playground web store.

Hella Tight 'Republic' Fitted Cap

Hella Tight is setting September off with an updated version of their Republic fitted cap.  This new upgrade features a mix of corduroy fabric used for the crown and denim for the visor and top button.  The front graphic utilizes a nice combination of die-cut felt for the bear and raised embroidery for the star.  As always, each cap ships inside a standard Hella Tight box.  Sizes are limited on this one so don't waste time copping one.  Available now at HellaTight.com.

ELM Online Exclusive Cap Release

ELM Company has just uploaded a pair of new caps to their web store.  These new styles add on to ELM's web exclusive releases, which you won't find anywhere else.  First up is The Tradition Fitted, which is a prelude to another style due to drop later this year.  Each cap is made with wool and is accented with green undervisors.  The front logo draws it's inspiration from the classic Chicago White Sox logo and is served up in black, red, and tiffany colorways.  Behind that is The Georgia Snapback cap, which is keeping seersucker going for Fall 09.  Both styles feature ELM leaf logos on the sides plus inside linings for the snapbacks.  Made in Los Angeles in limited stock.

Benny Gold 'Doughboy' Fall 2009 New Era Fitted Caps

The beginning of August started off with Benny Gold sharing a preview of upcoming fitteds rocking custom BG plaid under visors.  Today, Benny gives us a complete look at his new Fall 09, BG Doughboy New Era caps.  The demand was so high that BG had to bring these back.  No redesign, just some new, west coast, inspired color ways with khaki options to connect back to those creased Dickies and call it a day!  Each cap is lined with satin and features GOLD embroidered on the back.  BG Doughboys will be available this Fall through BennyGold.com and official dealers.
