NY Yankees x VT Hokies New Era Fitted Cap

The NY Yankees showed support for the VT community by wearing their navy caps embroidered with VT logos on the side for some 2007 April games & exhibit games this year. The Hokies return the favor by playing in NY fitteds made in VT colors. Utilizing one of my favorite color schemes (garnet, orange, & white), New Era has restocked on these fitted gems throughout their flagship stores. Made with New Era's performance fabric, this cap has their standard features of raised embroidery, black undervisor / sweatband, & MLB logo man.

Mickey's Place in Cooperstown, NY

I recently had the opportunity to visit the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. One of the country's best-known sports shrines is located on Main St., in the heart of Cooperstown. Right down the street is Mickey's Place, a memorabilia shop with tons of authentic fitted caps. New Era has just dropped these new "Big Blend" 5950 fitteds at Lids.com. These updated MLB caps incorporate large team logo with raised outline & gradient inside embroidery fill. The caps are wool & are mostly team color with some black /white & alternate fashion combos available. "The Chain Link" New Era 5950 Fitted

Hot off transport, this is New Era's "Chain Link" 5950 fitted cap. Inspired by C&C's graphic ligature, New Era takes the concept & flips into gold or silver NY / LA logos on black caps. With no challenge from Colorado the Red Sox sweep the series. This is the official Red Sox fitted cap from New Era with the World Series 07 patch.

Twins Enterprise Plaid Leaf Fitted Cap

A first on UA, here is a recent, summer, fitted from Twins Enterprise. Based out of Boston Mass, Twins has been focusing on fashion fitteds over the past 6 years. This custom Cooperstown Yankees is made of lightweight cotton with plaid accents & applications along the front & back of cap. Mostly cream based, this cap is printed with an all over leaf graphic & features contrast top stitch. The color combinations with the plaids make this a unique & special cap for those that can pull this style off. Available in very limited Cooperstown teams such as the Yankees, Red Sox, & Braves at Cap USA in Jamaica Queens.
