Mitchell & Ness NFL Throwbacks 'XL' Fitted Caps
Mitchell & Ness is releasing their latest summer style with the NFL Throwback XL fitted caps. The XL series offers up NFL & AFL teams with each large-sized logos treated individually with different levels of raised embroidery. Each cap is made with wool and features either an NFL or AFL shield on the back depending on the team. The Mitchell & Ness XL series is due to release early August through Lids.com first, then followed up by Mitchell & Ness.com and other official dealers later this year.
Mitchell & Ness Fall 09 Script Fitted Caps
Mitchell & Ness introduces their new team script caps for Fall 2009 in NBA Harwood Classics, NFL Throwbacks, and NHL Vintage Hockey teams. The 'script' layout has become a staple look amongst sport licensed companies ever since team caps exploded in the late 80's. This new Mitchell & Ness style keeps it standard by doing it up in solid team color wools. Buttons, front embroidery, and under visors are highlighted in the team's secondary color. The NBA and NFL caps have team logos in raised embroidery on the left side with the Hockey joints sporting the vintage NHL shield and team logos on the right side. These gems are set to start shipping next month with a full blown release by late August.
Reebok NFL Paintbrush 09 Stretch Caps
For fans of the loud, team-licensed caps of the early 90’s, Reebok is bringing it back with the release of NFL Paintbrush 09 caps. These caps borrow the paintbrush look from Logo Athletics’ famous snap-back style. This time around Reebok releases it as an acrylic / cotton stretch cap. The Paintbrush 09 features embroidered team logos on the front with new NFL shields on the back. Cut and sew sections are joined together by a full-embroidered brush graphic starting at the front and wrapping around to the back. This style is now being sold through Lids.com in all 32 teams.
Mitchell & Ness NFL Classic Arch Fitted Caps @ Hatland.com
The “classic” arch graphic has been one of the most enduring looks since the rise of pro-sport, licensed team caps. Remixed hundreds of ways by many, the licensed sport version has always been the preferred look- especially in Raiders, for obvious reasons. For Summer 09, Mitchell & Ness releases their version of this staple in wool two-tone and solid color. Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins are shown below. This style features team arch wordmarks in bold, raised embroidery, MN side script, and team logos on the back. Hatland.com is first in line to release these with a wider release later this year.
