I want to take this time to showcase one of Detroit's hidden gems located west of historic Tiger Stadium on Michigan Ave. Detroit Athletic Company is a unique spot that stocks some of the best product representing Detroit's sports teams and rich history. Representing the Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons, and Lions, Detroit Athletic is loaded with ballpark souvenirs, apparel, game-used items, collectibles, jerseys, fitted caps, and tons of other authentic articles. Starting at the top is New Era's 59Fifty on field fitted caps in core navy and plenty of other colors. If it's vintage Tigers flavor you're looking for, DA has you covered with all the classic logos on low profile fitteds from the Cooperstown Ball Cap Company. Next to this you have a huge selection of American Needle, Twins, Zephyr, in addition to Reebok's NFL headwear selections. The November New Eras are here and Upper Playground has 5 different styles to keep you looking fresh. Mickey Duzyj created the fierce greyhound design, perfect for getting you in the mood to go the track. From Australia's RINZEN collective we have the robot skull design to wear on your head if you want to appear scholarly, even if you don't like dead poets. If Billiards is your game, UP has the perfect hat - made with actual green felt - so you can camouflage yourself with the pool table. Supra x New Era Fitteds @ In4mation
In4mation is now stocking these New Era fitteds by Supra. In line with their sick footwear selection, Supra serves up these basic classics with a bit of shine. Both caps feature wool crowns either with tonal or white raised embroidery. The highlight is the visors, which are laced with soft silk fabric including the undervisors. Leaders 1354 "Script" New Era 59Fifty Fitted
Leaders 1354 continues to add more styles to their fitted arsenal with this recent preview of the Chicago Leaders x New Era cap. Here is another re-interpretation of the famous licensed script style done up for the Leaders. This one utilizes black wool for the crown and micro suede fabric for the visor and top button. Keeping it real straight forward, there is no back hit embroidery and features a green undervisor. Stay posted for more info on release date and availability.
Rock N Jocks Exclusive New Era 59Fifty Fitted Caps
Rock N Jocks continues to hit us off with some exclusive New Era customs. The first style is a MLB logoman fitted in royal. This wool cap features a fully raised MLB logo on the front and a smaller one on the back. You rarely see MLB league fitteds nowadays so don't sleep on this one. Next up are the Los Angeles Kings script 59Fifty caps. New Era comes out with their version of the famous script style made famous by Sport Specialties. This style is offered in an all white crown and visor with black embroidered script and a two-tone option. Finally is the NBA Hardwood Classics, Chicago Bulls fitted in the Cubs colorway. As always, RNJ only brings in 30 pieces of each style making these exclusive once their out.
HUF "Tonals" New Era 59Fifty Fitteds
Getting back on the grind, let's start things off with HUF. The Fall/Holiday 08 season has to be one of HUF's biggest offerings in headwear. They continue to bless us with the fitteds but also maintain a healthy dose of 5-panels, meshbacks, and knits. Below is a definite lay-up with these HUF H Tonals by New Era. These crispy gems are made with wool and feature a tonal, raised embroidered H on the front panels. These caps are now available through HUF in cardinal, brown, white, and black colorways.
