Airtime Spring 09 Flat Brim Snapback Caps
Based out of Minneapolis, Airtime is a new apparel company with the tagline of "broadcast for the public good". They start things off with their new Spring 2009 collection which consists of tees, zip ups, crews, and the below snapbacks. Developed in conjunction with Flat Fitty, Airtime brings out the flat brim look with snapback appeal. Each cap is made in wool with custom Airtime graphics embroidered on the front and side panels. Inside Label: Detroit Pistons Back To Back Champions Snapback Cap
The Detroit Pistons of the late 1980’s, early 1990’s were known as the Bad Boys. The Pistons defined physical and aggressive play within a line-up that featured the likes of Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Bill Laimbeer and Dennis Rodman. The Pistons drafted Isiah with the hopes of winning an NBA Championship. Thomas, who is the Pistons all-time leader in points and assists, turned that dream into a reality, twice.
In 1989, the Bad Boy Detroit Pistons fought their way to the top of the Eastern Conference and into the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Pistons proved their dominance over the aging Lakers, sweeping the series for their first NBA title. In 1990, the Pistons came out of the Eastern Conference by defeating the up and coming Chicago Bulls in seven games. It would be the third consecutive finals appearance for the Bad Boys as they faced the high flying Portland Trail Blazers. The Pistons would need just five games to become the third team in the history of the NBA to win back to back titles, joining both the Lakers and Celtics.
This black, wool, snap back cap was made by Sports Specialties to commemorate the third team in the history of the NBA to win back to back titles. The front two panels hold an embroidered, twill patch, which marks the Pistons accomplishment. Under the brim is a sticker with the 1990 Finals logo. The hats were presented to the Piston players after they defeated the Blazers in game 5 in Portland.
Franco Shade / FRSH Snapback Caps
Franco Shade / FRSH recently put out two snapback styles from their Spring / Summer 2009 collection. The Team FRSH Hat sets it off by sporting their custom script piece on solid black or grey twill fabric. Rounding off this SP/SU 09 release, Franco Shade offers up the Give Up! graphic on two-tone caps. Each cap is now available through their site, Roller Warehouse, and other official dealers.
DQM Spring 09 Snapbacks, 5 Panel, and Trucker Caps
Dave's Quality Meat is set drop new Spring / Summer 09 heat this weekend (4/18). Below are three styles ranging from 5-panel snapbacks, camper style 5-panels, and some dope trucker caps. DQM takes it back to the basics with their Bolt snapback caps in core cotton, offered in four colorways plus a camouflage option. Next up are the 5-panel camper caps offered in three, tight plaid, color options that feature a front label. Closing out this release are B.A.S. (Beer Appreciation Society) trucker caps in color blocked with white front panels or solid black. Look for these at DQM and other official dealers.

Official has released 2009 Spring / Summer headwear on their branded site and through select dealers. Official expands the collection with linens, plaid 5 Panels, snapbacks, and their painter caps. The added feature of satin linings, printed undervisors, and tight embroidery completes each piece.
