The Superb Label Headwear, Chapter I: Unstoppable

A first here on Universal Article, The Superb Label is a new, progressive brand hailing from the City Of Angels.  This creative brand is out in full force with a consistent graphic direction across tees, crews, and headwear, which is currently made up of fitted and snapback caps.  Below is a showcase of SPRB's fitted and snapback caps that will start to flow into official dealers starting this December into 2010.  Right off the top we begin with the official SPRB fitted caps that come in either corduroy or melton wool fabric.  Both caps feature the large SPRB embroidered initials plus satin inside linings.  Next is the TSL, wool fitted cap in bright cyan with contrasting red top button and undervisor.  This style also dons a satin inside lining.  The collection keeps expanding with a black suede fitted, rocking one of SPRB's signature characters in full raised embroidery.  Last of the group is the company's philosophy: UNSTOPPABLE.  This red / black snapback is bold, in your face and part of their Spring 10 offering.  All caps will be available through SPRB's shopping website plus official retailers.  Stay posted for more on The Superb Label.

aNYthing Plaid Flannel Snapback Caps

Mitchell & Ness 'Hall Of Fame: Class Of 2009' Chicago Bulls Cap Collection

Basketball’s greatest player, Michael Jordan is set to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall Of Fame this Friday, September 11, 2009.  To commemorate this special event, Mitchell & Ness has released a special collection of fitteds and snapback caps.  The collection starts off with the 84’ Home Court mesh fitted cap.  Inspired by the original jersey, the cap is made with poly mesh fabric and the BULLS wordmark applied in a heat transfer.  The side panels are cut n sew, which take their cue from the uniform shorts.  The back is solidified with a red, satin Mitchell & Ness label.  Following behind that are a pair of two tone, wool fitted caps.  Each cap utilizes the 84 jersey home and road wordmarks.  Finally, the collection pays homage to Michael Jordan's '84 rookie year by offering M&N’s staple, wool snapback cap.  This is a 5-panel construction with heat transfer front hit and green under visors.  The Hall Of Fame Bulls caps hook directly to Michael Jordan's limited edition, 1984-85, authentic rookie jersey by Mitchell & Ness available now at the NBA Store in NYC.  The Mitchell & Ness flagship store, site and other select retailers will have these in stock within the coming weeks.

Mitchell & Ness NFL & NHL Trucker Meshback Caps, Pt:1

Sports brand Mitchell & Ness has released a bunch of good, old-fashioned trucker mesh and snapback caps for the start of September.  The mix is made up of mostly NFL Throwbacks and NHL Vintage teams with some classic college teams.  Below are the NFL and NHL trucker caps sporting white mesh.  Each cap is accented with wool, team primary front panels and contrast top visors.  The old school feel is here with full crowns, boxy visors and foam backing.  Both styles will be available through MitchellandNess.com and select retailers in the coming weeks.  Stay posted for Part 2 on M&N snapback caps.

DQM New Fall 2009 Headwear, Pt: 1

DQM gives us a look at their latest Fall 2009 offering, which launches September 11th (Friday).   The first pieces of attention are the new wax wear caps produced in collaboration with legendary hat company Stormy Kromer based out of Michigan.  The waxed cotton provides 100% waterproof protection while the patent ear band helps keep your dome warm.  Right behind the DQM/SK caps are New Era 59Fifty fitted caps made of tuff duck canvas and made in the USA.  Maintaining the outdoor theme DQM re-ups on waxed cotton snapback caps.  These pieces feature the DQM Standard Issue label and are offered in 4 color ways.  Stay posted for Pt:2 of DQM's Fall 2009 head gear.

ELM Online Exclusive Cap Release

ELM Company has just uploaded a pair of new caps to their web store.  These new styles add on to ELM's web exclusive releases, which you won't find anywhere else.  First up is The Tradition Fitted, which is a prelude to another style due to drop later this year.  Each cap is made with wool and is accented with green undervisors.  The front logo draws it's inspiration from the classic Chicago White Sox logo and is served up in black, red, and tiffany colorways.  Behind that is The Georgia Snapback cap, which is keeping seersucker going for Fall 09.  Both styles feature ELM leaf logos on the sides plus inside linings for the snapbacks.  Made in Los Angeles in limited stock.
