G-Star Raw Bronco Knit Cap
G-Star Raw always seems to come through with a good reason to own another military inspired, knit hat. This piece is not necessarily new in stores but is definitely a good hat to equip you for low temps. Below is G-Star’s Bronco knit cap with visor, also known as a peak knit. This cap combines basic rib texture with a cable insert going around the entire crown. As usual, leave it to G-Star to add staple upgrades, such as a quilted nylon insert on the back with zigzag stitch. The front features a GSR woven label and cool, shiny Tyvek application on the back. You can cop yours at most G-Star flagship stores and official dealers.
New Era 'RipStop' Military Patrol Cap @ OnSpotz.com
OnSpotz.com has recently re-stocked the New Era RipStop Military Patrol Cap in graphite. This cap features the basic build of vintage patrol caps made with single-ply ripstop fabric and side NE branding. The ripstop option is my personal favorite but Onspotz is loaded with various color options plus different fabrics such as plaids, houndstooth, and waterproof. Available now at Onspotz.com.

BBC Japan Digital Camo Boonie Hat
BBC Japan is releasing a one, two hit with their latest digital camo, boonie hat with matching mobile case. It's been a while since any fashion brand busted out a true military silhouette, especially a boonie. This hat is made with authentic MARPAT Forest digi pattern. Standard features include wide stiff brim, branch loop straps and large vented eyelets on each side. BBC released the digi trucker cap earlier this month that featured the pattern on the visor. Check the BBC/Zozotown site for availability.

Jonathan Da Lynn 2009 SEEBEE Fitteds & HOOAH Snapback Caps
Jonathan Da Lynn hits us off with some new cap styles for the current spring and upcoming 2009 summer season. JDL continues the military inspired theme to build out the following styles. First up is the SEABEE fitted cap with a nice seersucker undervisor. The front SEABEE wordmark represents the Navy motto for "We Build, We Fight". The SEABEE are the construction battalions of the U.S. Navy. This cap is made with straight wool and front raised embroidery. Next up is the HOOAH snapback cap. HOOAH is an Air Force term with many meanings with Heard, Understand, and Acknowledge being the most common reference. This cap is made with tiger camouflage, olive undervisor, and front raised embroidery. Both caps are now available through the official JDL site in limited stock.

Some of my personal favorites are the khaki felt on the Gain, the new plaid and corduroy fabrics to the Stroll, and the Semi trucker cap, which includes visor ribbon plus silk printed lining.
