ARTH - Headwear Store

On a recent trip to the west coast I had an opportunity to visit the ARTH hat store. Located at The Lab on Bristol St. this should definitely be on your spots list to check out. The clean & clear layout of the store is impressive & the hat assortment expansive. They carry everything from fedoras, gatsbys, military, beanies, handcrafted wool hats & a few fitteds. Arth seemed to carry mostly independent brands along with the regulars such as Kangol, Goorin, Dobbs, Stetson, & others. The only fitted cap brand being represented here was New Era & the styles being carried were a bit dated. It would be interesting to see if Arth starts to offer more fitted assortment in styles & brands? Regardless of their fitted game this is a spot to see & pick up a hat to expand your headwear game. Carhartt Blaze Orange Knit

One of the most well constructed & durable knits is by Carhartt. Real basic with the classic Carhartt label on the front, this one is sure to call you out or avoid getting shot in the field. Available at any army surplus store… get yours!

G-Star Raw Denim Military Hat

Here is another solid hat piece from the G Star Raw group. A simple cut style denim military hat with a durable hand rubbed shearling back flap. You are able to wear the flap down or hold it up with buttons. The denim has a heavy washed rugged hand to it & comes with an inside lining. Available at all G Star Raw stores now.

LRG Infantree Camo Fitted

Here is a new fitted release from the LRG team. With all over prints still going strong here is a cotton based fitted with the tree pattern. The color alternate between logos in the pattern makes this one a sure pick. Front silver plaque & woven label on the back. Available at Caliroots & any other spot that carries LRG.

Triple 5 Military Hats

Here are some pics of currently available Triple 5 Soul military hats. The hats are made of washed camouflage cotton fabric trimmed out with minor rips & scuffs plus a metal pin sporting their color stripes. Then you have the washed pinstripe one that carries the same embellishments as the others. Real comfortable, real fly these are out now at the Triple 5 NYC store.

Diesel Linen Flip Cap

Italian designer label Diesel releases this rugged linen cap with a flip wool trim. This 3 panel cap is made of custom thick linen fabric trimmed out with thick cord piping, heavy stitch patch, a shearling flip layer, & inside lining. The overall cap has a classic bomber style feeling to it that includes details such as a cord top button, decorative visor stitching, & brass button details. The cap is part of their fall / winter 2006 collection & available at all Diesel stores or website.
